Heat & Eat

Welcome to our Heat & Eat Menu. When you order your meal as a “heat and eat” it will come prepared in an oven safe foil container and is meant to be reheated in the oven or stove top for dinner. All of these options are available during our normal business hours, but it’s best to pre order a day in advance especially if you want an order for Sunday. We do our best to plan our orders, but we sometimes run out of certain items. Please call your order in during normal business hours and remember to specify that you want the heat and eat version. Our regular menu is still available. We are just adding these options for guests that would rather cook at home. Thank you for your continued support and flexibility during these times. Southern Classics & Entrees

Bowl of Gumbo
Check for the weekly choice as it’s an ever changing, hearty mix of meats and vegetables, topped with gingered greens and served with cornbread.

Baked Macaroni & Cheese
Baked elbow noodles in a creamy mild blend of cheeses, served with gingered greens and cornbread.

A rice dish with meat that changes weekly, corn, and peppers, topped with a roasted tomato sauce, and served with cornbread and gingered greens.

Veggie Jambalaya
A rice dish with tempeh, sauteed peppers, corn, and spinach, topped with a green onion sauce, served with gingered greens and cornbread.

River Queen
Cornmeal crusted catfish filet, sauteed in a brown butter, lemon, caper, tomato sauce, served on rice with gingered greens and cornbread.

Dixieland Pasta
Trumpet noodles, andouille sausage, chicken, roasted peppers, mushrooms, caramelized onions, creole tomato sauce, and smoked mozzarella.

Creamy Creole Chicken or Tofu
Blackened chicken thighs or tofu smothered in a spiced bourbon creamy mushroom sauce, served over grits with gingered greens.

Firecracker Chicken or Tofu
Lightly breaded chicken thighs or tofu with a sweet chili tomato glaze and bourbon horseradish cream sauce, served over rice with gingered greens.

Gospel Road BBQ Tri-Tip or Tempeh
Seasoned tri-tip or tempeh grilled and basted with Ike’s bbq sauce, drizzled with horseradish cream, served with cheese grits and gingered greens.


House Salad
Mixed greens, carrots, cucumbers, onions, and croutons. Choice of balsamic, green onion, creamy gorgonzola or strawberry vinaigrette.

Strawberry Spinach Salad
Spinach, strawberries, red onions, pecans, gorgonzola cheese, strawberry vinaigrette and served with cornbread.

French Market Green
Spinach, red onions, sauteed peppers, roasted corn, gorgonzola cheese, choice of tri tip, chicken or tofu, dressed with green onion vinaigrette and served with cornbread.

Tri Tip Royal
Seasonal lettuce, spinach, artichoke hearts, olives, grilled red onions, blackened tomato, grilled tri tip, gorgonzola dressing and served with cornbread.
